The Aspen Given Foundation, founded
in 1999, funds the public programs at the world-famous
Given Institute of the University of Colorado. The founding
members of the Aspen Given Foundation were Mary Dominick,
Stanley Hoffberger, King Woodward & Phil Holstein.
The Foundation was formed as a non-profit to raise funds
to sponsor the Health Education Series as well as other
heath events in the community. Through private fundraising
and appeals, the Foundation has been able to annually
sponsor two health events and several lectures. The Foundation
receives grants from several different agencies in the
Valley.
The members of the board are a dedicated group of individuals
who are working together to provide “Health Through
Education” to the people in our community. We
always strive to find new ways to inform people about
topics at the forefront of medical issues today.
We have created an endowment at the Aspen Given Foundation,
which we hope will grow so that we can continue to provide
these services to our community well into the future.
